The event is free and open to the public and will be held at one of the largest universities in the country – Boston University.

Experience Ukraine’s rich culture: “sopilka” ( a type of Ukrainian flute)  and “bandura” are some of the oldest musical instruments of Ukraine; national “hopak” dance; Ukrainian folk, classical and modern songs; traditional folk clothes, decorated with ornamented handmade embroidery – vyshyvanka, and much more.

The Festival’s main goals are to raise awareness of Ukraine’s culture, to support the Independence of Ukraine, to showcase solidarity of many different nations with the Ukrainian people, and to preserve national traditions, especially during these difficult times, when Russian totalitarian regime is attempting to erase Ukraine from existence.

Funds, raised during the Festival, will be donated to several humanitarian causes, including the Children’s Hospital and The Sociо-Psychological Rehabilitation Center in Kyiv, and to help Ukrainian refugees in the United States of America.

Audience will be able to enjoy an open-air summer concerts on two stages, folk dance and  folk/classical/pop Ukrainian music, fashion show, Ukrainian pastries and traditional cuisine, fun activities for children, exhibitions of decorative and applied arts, and much more. The visual artists and craftsmen have donated beautiful items to the silent auction, during which the guests will be able to own a “piece” of Ukrainian culture for themselves.

The festival will be broadcast live on several social media platforms and YouTube channels.

The Festival’s special guests are: the dance ensemble “Syzokryli”, the winner of “The Voice Kids” Oleksandr Zazarashvili, the famous Ukrainian soprano Olga Lisovska, the Lyudmila Koval Music Group, virtuoso violinists Olga Patramanska, Oleksandr Vavilov and Natasha Dukach; popular singers Mykhailo Shirpal and Ilya Demba; renowned baritone David Gvinianidze, MAF children’s studio, dancers Zhenya Didenko and Leon Turetsky, fashion designer Svitlana Rozghon, a big international chorus under the baton of the famous Polish-American conductor, Joseph Olefirowicz to perform the Ukrainian State Anthem, and others.
